Honor the legends.
Inspire the future.

A St. Louis-born celebration of living icons, cultural pioneers and the stories that must never be lost.

The purpose

Give them their flowers.
Preserve what they built.

Founded by April Floyd and Eddie Floyd Jr. and presented by FEG — Floyd Entertainment Group, Legends In Film brings legacy and new opportunity into the same room through film, music, recognition, conversation and community.

The festival honors accomplished artists while they are here to receive the love, respect and recognition they have earned. Their journeys become inspiration—and a living archive—for filmmakers, artists and storytellers still finding their way.

Community impact

When St. Louis needed help,
the festival answered.

The 2025 festival faced tornado-related venue changes, shortages and disruption. The response became part of its legacy: artists, volunteers, sponsors and community partners stood together, and the celebration became a fundraiser supporting Metropolitan Urban League recovery efforts.

“This festival celebrates the past and lays the groundwork for future generations of artists and storytellers.”— April Floyd, Founder
